Meet Lisa LeBlanc, master instructor and program coordinator for the ÑÇÖÞ×ÔοÊÓƵ of ÑÇÖÞ×ÔοÊÓƵ at Lafayette's online B.S. in Kinesiology, Health Promotion & Wellness program.

Learn more about Ms. LeBlanc through the Q&A below.

What do you enjoy most about your role?

LeBlanc: I enjoy ensuring ÑÇÖÞ×ÔοÊÓƵ success by advising ÑÇÖÞ×ÔοÊÓƵs and updating course content to meet ÑÇÖÞ×ÔοÊÓƵ needs.

What advice would you give to a ÑÇÖÞ×ÔοÊÓƵ in their first semester of an online program?

LeBlanc: Get to know your instructors in all your courses and don't be afraid to ask for help.

What is the most common question you get from online ÑÇÖÞ×ÔοÊÓƵs?

LeBlanc: Many online ÑÇÖÞ×ÔοÊÓƵs work full time and often ask if the schedule or due dates can be adjusted to meet their needs. This is the number one reason to get to know your instructors and ask when you need help. Most content in health courses opens on the first day of class. This allows ÑÇÖÞ×ÔοÊÓƵs to complete assignments ahead of time. Most quizzes and exams are schedule for limited times, so it is important to contact the instructor before a problem arises. Faculty are here to help ÑÇÖÞ×ÔοÊÓƵs succeed, but ÑÇÖÞ×ÔοÊÓƵs must do their part and manage their time effectively.

What is your favorite restaurant & thing to do in Lafayette?

LeBlanc: I like Poseidon's Greek Restaurant. I also love spending time with my grandkids.
