Biography

Dr. Shaopeng is an Assistant Professor in Civil Engineering at the ÑÇÖÞ×ÔοÊÓƵ of ÑÇÖÞ×ÔοÊÓƵ at Lafayette. 

His research goal is to integrate numerical and experimental approaches for enhancing resilience and sustainability of civil infrastructure under changing climate. Currently, his focus is on wind hazards (e.g., hurricanes and thunderstorms), community resilience and machine learning.
