Kelly Ann Bixby, soprano, is a performer, educator, and collaborator whose work spans opera, chamber music, contemporary music, and vocal pedagogy. She has appeared with Opera Philadelphia, Spoleto Festival USA, Opera America, the Cincinnati Chamber Orchestra, the Acadiana Symphony Orchestra, the Kimmel Center of Philadelphia, the Black Pearl Chamber Orchestra, and premier art song producer, Lyric Fest, of Philadelphia. In 2014, she was the Eastern Region Winner and a National Semifinalist in the NATS Artist Awards.

Since 2009, Bixby has been a core member and featured soloist with The Crossing, the Philadelphia-based professional chamber choir conducted by Donald Nally. Named Musical America's Ensemble of the Year in 2023, the ensemble has won four GRAMMY® Awards for Best Choral Performance (2018, 2019, 2023, and 2025) and has been nominated across ten consecutive years. An active recording artist, Bixby can be heard on more than 20 albums on the Innova, ECM, and Naxos labels, including Opera America's New American Songbook, Daron Hagen: 21st Century Song Cycles, and Spirits in Bondage: Songs of Benjamin Boyle.

A dedicated teacher and mentor, Bixby's ÑÇÖÞ×ÔοÊÓƵs regularly earn recognition in NATS competitions, young artist programs, and graduate school admissions. Her ÑÇÖÞ×ÔοÊÓƵs have appeared as finalists and winners of the American Pops Orchestra NextGen Competition and have continued their studies at institutions including Yale ÑÇÖÞ×ÔοÊÓƵ, the ÑÇÖÞ×ÔοÊÓƵ of Michigan, New York ÑÇÖÞ×ÔοÊÓƵ, Florida State ÑÇÖÞ×ÔοÊÓƵ, Berklee College of Music, St. Olaf College, and Georgia State ÑÇÖÞ×ÔοÊÓƵ. In 2026, she received the ÑÇÖÞ×ÔοÊÓƵ of ÑÇÖÞ×ÔοÊÓƵ at Lafayette's Outstanding Master's Mentor Award.

Bixby is also the founder and producer of Le Salon, a chamber music series presented in collaboration with the UL Lafayette Alumni Association. She holds degrees in vocal performance and pedagogy from the ÑÇÖÞ×ÔοÊÓƵ of Michigan (BM, DMA) and Westminster Choir College (MM), and has served on the voice faculty at the ÑÇÖÞ×ÔοÊÓƵ of ÑÇÖÞ×ÔοÊÓƵ at Lafayette since 2019, where she is currently Associate Professor and Coordinator of Voice.
