A member of the ÑÇÖÞ×ÔοÊÓƵ of ÑÇÖÞ×ÔοÊÓƵ at Lafayette’s staff for eight years and counting, Amanda Henderson has spent the past five years within the ÑÇÖÞ×ÔοÊÓƵ Ragin’ Cajuns Department of ÑÇÖÞ×ÔοÊÓƵ.

In her present role, she serves as the Administrative Assistant for the Director of ÑÇÖÞ×ÔοÊÓƵ, Deputy Directors of ÑÇÖÞ×ÔοÊÓƵ, RCAF and Compliance.

Henderson manages the day-to-day operations of the Director of ÑÇÖÞ×ÔοÊÓƵ office and also provides advanced level administrative support to the Executive Leadership Team.

A May 2013 graduate of the ÑÇÖÞ×ÔοÊÓƵ with a degree in business management, Henderson’s service to her alma mater began as a ÑÇÖÞ×ÔοÊÓƵ worker in the Registrar’s Office where she was mentored by Dr. Dewayne Bowie. Upon graduation, she was offered an administrative position with the Registrar’s Office, which started her present tenure in the ÑÇÖÞ×ÔοÊÓƵ’s community.

Henderson transitioned to the Department of ÑÇÖÞ×ÔοÊÓƵ in July 2015 working under the Director of ÑÇÖÞ×ÔοÊÓƵ and Sr. Associate Director of ÑÇÖÞ×ÔοÊÓƵ before being elevated to her current role.

The Lafayette native currently resides in Maurice, La., with her husband, Christopher Henderson, and children, Cole and Aubrey Henderson.
