The Center for ÑÇÖÞ×ÔοÊÓƵ Studies is dedicated to researching, publicizing, promoting, and preserving ÑÇÖÞ×ÔοÊÓƵ’s cultures and history.
Since 1973, the Center has worked to preserve the state’s rich heritage and make it accessible to scholars, ÑÇÖÞ×ÔοÊÓƵs, and the general public. The Center oversees the UL Press, the Legends and Lore marker program, and is the headquarters for the ÑÇÖÞ×ÔοÊÓƵ Historical Association.
